A FATHER-OF-TWO whose miracle babies were born thanks to a life-saving liver transplant is to run the London Marathon to raise vital funds to help sufferers of liver disease.

Vikki Medlicott was told she could never have children after contracting a serious disease at the age of 14.

But eight years later she and partner Stephen Gaughan were delighted when Jessica, a bouncing baby girl they call “a little miracle” was born and two years later the couple had their second child James.

The two children they never thought possible were born were thanks to a liver transplant Vicki underwent when she was only days away from dying.

It came from crash victim Matt Ferguson, an organ donor whose liver gave Vikki her life back and ultimately enabled her to have the babies she and Stephen so desperately wanted.
