The event was held at the Yarmouth Registry of Motor Vehicles to educate the community about the importance of organ and tissue donation. Grace Kobold, 15, of Brewster, MA, a heart recipient and Sandwich's Joan Crowley, a donor mother, spoke to the group about their experiences with donation and how it affected their lives.
Joan shared, "I miss Jason every day, but am proud that he was able to save others. I truly believe in the importance of organ donation and thank the RMV for their work each and every day asking the donation question." Crowley serves as an Ambassador for the Yarmouth RMV branch, providing staff with information on organ donation.
