Michigan Eye Bank, 55 years, 77,000 lives changed

Michigan Eye Bank
This year, the Michigan Eye-Bank is proud to celebrate 55 years of service to people in the state of Michigan and beyond. Thanks to the generosity of eye donors and their families, dedicated volunteers, charitable contributors and an amazing staff, more than 77,000 people have received a second chance for sight since 1957, when the Eye-Bank was founded.

We invite you to join in our celebration by participating in our
55th Anniversary Commemorative Booklet!

We have many wonderful events planned for this milestone year, culminating with a huge birthday bash on September 14, 2012. In the meantime, you can show your support for our efforts by purchasing a page in our 55th Anniversary Virtual Commemorative Booklet, which is available for download on our Web site. Each page is just $55, and the booklet will be continually updated throughout the year.

What will this booklet look like? That depends on you. You can use your page to remember a loved one, honor your donor or just congratulate us on reaching 55 years. There are no rules, and creativity is highly encouraged. Pages may be submitted as PDF files, or you can work with us to create a simple, text version of your message.

The Organ and Tissue Donation Blog team congratulates Michigan Eye Bank for their years of dedication and service to the community.
