York superhero donates organs; saves four lives

A York County family is mourning the loss of their 6 year old son.

He died after he fell into a pool and was submerged under water for more than 3 minutes.

Surprisingly, his parents aren’t looking at his life as a loss.

Nick Tek’s parents say this home video is their son in a nutshell.

Zombie’s, monsters, and leading his parents on a wild goose-chase, all his favorite things.

“Now I’m going to get you,” says Paul Tek as his son Nick screams and runs in a home video.

His mom says he was an adventurous kid.

That may have been why he accidentally fell into the deep end of a friend’s pool.

“He could swim but he wasn’t a very strong swimmer, I only let him go where he could stand,” says Melissa Lane, Nick’s mother.

Doctor’s say he was underwater for at least 3 minutes.

It took them 40 minutes to find a pulse.

They told Melissa and Paul that if he were to ever come out of it, he would only be able to blink and breathe.
