Indiana Organ Procurement Organization/Donate Life Indiana is the vital link between people waiting for a transplant and potential donors. They are dedicated to providing the citizens of Indiana with the information needed to make an informed decision about donation and to register their personal decision.

Come visit IOPO on courthouse square and see their interactive “Life is Cool” display, receive information the importance of organ and tissue donation and register your donation decision! They will have some fun giveaway items - including a chance to win tickets to see Miranda Lambert & Dierks Bentley in concert August 9th!

IOPO is dedicated to providing the citizens of Indiana with the information needed to make an informed decision about donation and to register their personal decision. As a community service, IOPO’s staff and trained volunteers offer educational programs and participate in events throughout the state including educational materials, donation education and registration displays at health fairs and other community events. We are pleased to welcome IOPO to their first FIRST FRIDAY event! They have been active in the Kokomo community via the Howard County Health Fair, Kokomo Farmers Market and several 5K and community based events. They will also be out at their first Howard County 4-H Fair in July!

Over the last year, Jennifer Carrino had come back from the brink of death, survived internal bleeding and spent weeks in intensive care. Then came the hard part: asking her cousin for a part of her liver. In April, doctors told Jennifer that without a transplant she probably had a year to live. Jennifer, 37, was already on transplant waiting lists in two states, but it was going to take too long, they said. She needed to think about a living donor.
