Happy to announce Zeke came out of surgery great! He had a fantastic night and they just woke him up from sedation! He groggily lifted his hand to his chest over his heart and said "Holy Shit" ! Got to Love him, our Miracle Boy! It can only get better from here. Words can not express our gratitude to all of you for your support prayers and Love that you have continually sent our way. They were our strength . Please continue to pray with us that Zekes body will accept the new heart and he can begin to start on the road of his new Life Journey. I know God has great things planned for Zeke.

My dad got to listen to Zekes heart for the first time. It brought tears to all of our eyes. I spent time with Zeke and he is remaining positive as always. 

This scripture was shared with us and we wanted to share it with you, as it is almost like it was written just for him.
Ezekiel 36:26

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

Today is the first day of the rest of his life. Amen!!! ♥

Over the last year, Jennifer Carrino had come back from the brink of death, survived internal bleeding and spent weeks in intensive care. Then came the hard part: asking her cousin for a part of her liver. In April, doctors told Jennifer that without a transplant she probably had a year to live. Jennifer, 37, was already on transplant waiting lists in two states, but it was going to take too long, they said. She needed to think about a living donor.
